Severe Weather in Texas and Florida. Some Snow Yet

    Comments

    1. Another round of storms in Texas today into tonight. The NAM suggests that a complex of storms gets going near the Big Bend and moves east across San Antonio making it to the coast by Wednesday morning. The impacts will be damaging winds, hail, a few tornadoes and flooding.

    2. That same system that produces storms in Texas will produce storms along the Gulf coast and eventually will hit the northern half of Florida with severe weather late Thursday.

    3. Lake-effect snows should wind down by Wednesday across western New York, but not after a lot of snow falls locally. Radar has been showing banding coming off Lake Ontario all morning.

    4. Snow may fall across northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin late Friday. We may get over 4 inches of snow in that area.
