The blizzard in Texas is about as wild as a storm can get. Winds gusting up to 60 mph with heavy snow, and it could kill people if they're out in the storm and not prepared. The winds wrapping around the storm across Texas are just amazing with gusts to 60 mph.
Severe weather has started across Arkansas and Louisiana. Wind damage, hail and a few tornadoes will occur into tonight.
I posted a snow map below for the entire storm. In the 6-12 inches of snow area, there will be some locally 12-16 inches of snow. The real forecast headache is in my own backyard where GFS says in mixes and NAM/ECMWF say a foot of snow. Who will win that one?
