1. An impressive band of heavy snow across parts of Connecticut and Long Island this morning. It almost looks like a blizzard out there with winds gusting and heavy snow. It should end this afternoon as the storm moves out to sea.
2. A blizzard across the northern Plains today into tonight. Over a foot of snow with winds gusting over 40 mph. Not a great way to end March.
3. Severe weather will be centered over the south-central Plains as shown on the map Tuesday through Thursday. Wind damage and hail will be the main impacts, but Wednesday could be the day when tornadoes hit parts of Oklahoma.
