I just got back from vacation, and I am getting back in touch with the weather.
I see that May 2014 was the warmest May on record globally going back to 1880. This was confirmed by two sources, NOAA and NASA.
The jet stream will retreat to the north in the East this weekend, and this should lead to a warm to very warm first half of next week in the East.
