THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and Wisconsin,
including the following areas, in Iowa, Allamakee, Chickasaw,
Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, and Winneshiek. In
southeast Minnesota, Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted,
Wabasha, and Winona. In Wisconsin, Adams, Buffalo, Crawford,
Grant, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland,
Trempealeau, and Vernon.
* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Thursday afternoon
* Heavy rainfall of 2 to 4 inches, locally higher amounts possible.
Widespread flooding is possible.
* Prepare a plan of action now. Know where to go if water rises
in your area. NEVER cross a flooded road.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
