THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* the following counties in eastern Kentucky, Bath, Elliott,
Estill, Fleming, Menifee, Montgomery, Powell, Rowan, Johnson,
Martin, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne, Whitley,
Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Knott, Knox, Lee,
Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Pike, and
Wolfe.

* From 7 PM EST this evening through Sunday morning

* Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected tonight and Saturday,
and thunderstorms are possible Saturday night.

* With the ground already saturated, excessive rainfall could
lead to flooding or flash flooding. River flooding is also
expected to become a larger concern. In addition, rock and
mudslides may be a hazard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
