    ...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

    The National Weather Service in Shreveport has expanded the

    * Flash Flood Watch to include portions of Arkansas, northwest
    Louisiana, and northeast Texas, including the following areas,
    in Arkansas, Columbia, Lafayette, Miller, and Union. In
    northwest Louisiana, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, and Webster.
    In northeast Texas, Cass, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Smith,
    Upshur, and Wood.

    * Through Sunday morning

    * Widespread rain and a few thunderstorms will continue through
    tonight ahead of an upper level disturbance. Since yesterday, 2
    inches of rainfall have occurred across this expanded watch
    area. Moderate to occasional heavy rainfall is expected today
    with an additional 2 to 4 inches possible.

    * Expect flooding of low-lying areas, and locations with poor
    drainage.

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

    A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
    to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

    You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
    should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
