Police: 2 bodies found in south Phoenix park

Phoenix police say the deaths of two people whose bodies were found at a El Prado Park near 19th and Southern Avenues are being investigated as homicides.

Sgt. Alan Pfohl says the man and woman found dead Wednesday morning had signs of trauma, but the medical examiner will have to determine the cause or causes of death. He says they haven't been identified.

Pfohl says a passer-by found the bodies on the ground near a baseball field's bleachers and that the passer-by contacted a parks worker who called police.
