    Dallas to close hurricane shelter at convention center

    The City of Dallas will move the remaining Hurricane Harvey evacuees to a smaller shelter on Wednesday.

    About 200 mega shelter evacuees will be moved from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center to the Tommie Allen Center in Oak Cliff.

    An 200 additional evacuees decided to be bussed back home today to the Texas gulf coast.

    At its peak, the convention center was home to over 2,000 evacuees.
