As the threat of more eruptions loom, lava oozes into the ocean, sending hydrochloric acid and volcanic glass particles into the air. That produces laze, a dangerous mix of lava and haze. One man was injured in Pahoa, after being hit by lava splatter. It's the first reported lava injury since the volcano first erupted.
