...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST
* WHAT...Widespread black ice expected on roadways. Patchy
freezing fog will also develop in some areas late tonight, which
may deposit a thin additional layer of ice on surfaces.
* WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the
Interstate 40 corridor, and the Appalachian Expressway.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hazardous conditions could impact the
Tuesday morning commute.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
