River levels continue to rise this morning. Flooding is forecast. Flooding is possible from this morning, Saturday 29 November 2025 . Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from the Welsh border at Llawnt to Shrawardine near Shrewsbury. Other locations that may be affected include Llanymynech, Maesbrook and Melverley. Roads between Maesbrook, Melverley and Pentre start to flood. Predicted peaks:- Llanymynech 3.3m to 3.8m on 29/11/25 PM, Cae Howel 3.8m to 4.3m on 30/11/25 AM We are closely monitoring the situation . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 30 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
