AccuData Help

After you familiarize yourself with this page, you may want to consider downloading the software.

Click on the Download icon. You will be taken to our download page. From here, you can click on either AccuWeather for Windows, or AccuWeather for Windows with the demo. Click on either link, click on the 'save file' button and then select a directory to save the file. It will take approximately 15-30 minutes to download the file using a 28.8 modem.

First exit your browser. Then locate the AAWIN50.exe or AAWIN50d.exe file where you saved it. Move the file to a directory you use to unzip files. Once the file is copied to this directory double click on the file you just downloaded. It will self extract to reveal a SETUP.exe file along with many other files. Click on the SETUP.exe file and the program will install.

Once the software is installed then what?

Launch the program by double clicking on the AccuWeather for Windows Icon. The first time you launch the program you will be asked a few more questions before you can connect to AccuData. Please be assured this data is encrypted for your protection. This data will be sent to AccuWeather and a trial account will be sent to your computer. This trial account will include 5 free hours of access time valid for 30 days. You can double your available free time by subscribing to AccuData. Subscription information will be presented to you when you connect to AccuData.
