How does Wind Chill work?
Contrary to what some believe, the wind chill factor does not lower the air temperature.
It does not matter how strong the wind is; the temperature remains constant unless
progressively colder air is moving into the region. The wind chill factor is a
measure of how fast heat is being removed from your body. If the air temperature is
40 degrees and the wind is blowing at 20 miles per hour, it feels the same as 20
degrees with no wind at all.
