The stormy weather will continue in the Pacific Northwest on Saturday night and into Sunday as well. Rain will be heavy at times along the western slopes of the Washington Cascades below 3,000 feet with snow piling up quickly higher up the slopes. Snowfall amounts during the next 24 hours will range from around 6 inches of heavy, wet snow around 3,000 feet to a foot or more in the highest passes above 4,000 feet. Meanwhile, snow showers in the northern Rockies of Idaho and Montana into northwestern Wyoming will accumulate 1-3 inches on Saturday night and continue Sunday as well.
