The next 2-3 days will remain fairly quiet over much of the country. There will be some snow in the Washington Cascades with up to 6 inches by Wednesday morning. But that's about it for any accumulating snow from tonight through Thursday morning. Snow will then develop Thursday night over the northern Rockies, then shift into the Wasatch and central Rockies Thursday night. Some of this snowfall could be heavy with more than half a foot by Friday morning in parts of Wyoming. This storm will be a snow producer across Colorado and Nebraska Friday and from Kansas to Minnesota and Wisconsin Friday night into Saturday.
