No significant areas of snow are expected across the United States through Wednesday.
On Thursday, a storm diving south from the Canadian Rockies across the Canadian Plains will drag a cold front through the Northwest. This will trigger mainly high-elevation snow from northern Idaho across Montana. By Friday, some snow will accumulate across the high peaks of western Wyoming, even as far south as the Wasatch Range of Utah.
Snow levels in the north will be as low as 4,000 feet. Across Utah, snow levels will only be as low as 7,000 feet. Accumulations across all areas will be 1-3 inches, except in southwestern Montana where as much as 6 inches of snow can accumulate.
