A trough of low pressure will bring a couple of showers to western Ireland on Monday while eastern Ireland will be mainly dry. Across the United Kingdom, morning rain will taper to scattered afternoon showers across England, while scattered showers will occur across Wales and Scotland.
High temperatures on Monday will average 8-11 degrees across Scotland, 10-13 degrees across Wales and 11-14 degrees across England. Winds will be strong to gale force from the southwest.
On Tuesday, low pressure and an associated cold front will bring scattered showers to England with spells of rain across Wales. To the north, outbreaks of rain will fall across Scotland with the heaviest rain expected to be across western Scotland.
