Eastern Gulf Coast of U.S. Could be Threatened by Ida Next Week

There could be two tropical systems that cause problems for interests in the Gulf of Mexico and part of the southern United States in the coming days. Ida is forecast to continue moving across eastern Honduras into tonight, before entering the northwest Caribbean by Saturday and the Gulf of Mexico next week. Meanwhile, a front-running system could bring tropical storm conditions to the western Gulf this weekend before bringing a flood threat to the lower Mississippi Valley. Full Story
