The parade of storms continues across the Pacific Northwest on Saturday as
widespread rain and snow will impact Oregon, Washington, Idaho and southern
British Columbia.
The worst of the storm, in terms of rain and wind, will occur along the Oregon
coast Saturday evening and night as the winds could gust to 50 mph, resulting
in some downed trees and power lines. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain could fall
over northwestern Oregon.
Snow levels will fall to 2,000 feet by the end of Saturday in the Cascade
passes, so if you are planning on driving along Interstate 90 from Seattle to
Spokane you should be prepared for snowcovered roads in the mountain passes.
