A second storm of the week will bring wet snow to parts of the Deep South
Thursday night and Friday.
The storm tracking across the Gulf of Mexico Thursday and Friday will bring
steady rain from coastal Texas to Florida. However, farther north, cold air
will meet up with the storm resulting in a narrow belt of wet snow from
northeastern Texas to Alabama. A wintry mix will fall just to the south.
It appears that the the storm may end up tracking farther south as drier air
attempts to push in from the north, which would limit the amount of snowfall
over the highlighted region.
