Biography
I graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. I founded the Central Atlantic Storm Investigators (CASI) in late 1996, in order to form a community of storm enthusiasts in North Carolina. In 2000 it became a not-for-profit business and took on the WeatherMatrix name. I am currently the Community Director and Subscription Content Manager at AccuWeather [AccuWeather is the parent company of WeatherMatrix.] I am interested in experimental mobile webcam technology, ran one of the first personal webcams in 1995, and was one of the first multiple weather camera sites on the Net in 1997. I am also a weather photographer and SKYWARN spotter who sometimes chases local storms. I reside at my home in State College, Pennsylvania with my wife, stepdaughter, and our Siberian Husky. Read more about music, TV and magazines that I enjoy on my non-weather bio, or find out more about me by accessing the JessePedia.
