Hey Frank, just want to say I watch your posts religiously. We're all a little panicked in the Atlanta area about Ida. As you know, we've had way too much rain here and some models take her into Georgia early next week. What are your thoughts on the track and potential impacts on Georgia? Keep up the great work!

The GFDL is indicating Ida will do almost a 180 degree turn next Thursday, and skirt Florida's gulf coast. The NHC seems to be following this same forecast.
I've had a lot of faith in the GFDL in the past, but I also have a fishing trip planned next week in the Pamlico Sound.
What does your meteorological gut tell you?
BTW, thanks for losing the shirt and tie!
