Over 50 Inches of Snow in Colorado!

UPDATE: Final list updated 4/19 @ 7 AM Mountain Time.

An update to the totals I posted yesterday - there are now so many high snowfall reports coming in from Colorado NWS Spotters that I can only list those amounts over 3 feet! The AP says that I-70 & I-80 were shut down during the storm, in fact hundreds were stranded on I-70 and the National Guard had to step in.

NOTE: RAW VIDEOS AT RIGHT!

Rollinsville, CO: 56.3"
Pinecliffe, CO: 54.0"
Buckhorn Mountain, CO: 47.8"
Aspen Springs, CO: 43.4"
Conifer, CO: 38.0"
Nederland, CO: 37.0"
St. Marys Glacier, CO: 36.7"
Evergreen, CO: 36.2"

These reports, of course, are from way up in the mountains west of the Denver Metro area. Here are some reports from there:

KAPA Centennial Airport: 10.0"
Broomfield, CO: 5.6"
KDEN International Airport: 5.0"
Northwest Denver: 4.5" (Thundersnow)
KBKF Buckley Airport: 4.0"

Tulips are covered with ice and snow in Denver on Friday, April 17, 2009, as a spring storm sweeps over the intermountain West. Forecasters predict that the storm could leave up to 20 inches of snow in the Denver metropolitan area and even more in the neighboring foothills before moving out on the eastern plains on Saturday. Carbon, WY: 24.0"
Taos County, NM: 12.1"
