AccuWeather Reaffirms 20-year Commitment to the American Cancer Society

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. August 4, 2010 -, the world's leading multimedia weather information source, today announced it is the recipient of the American Cancer Society's Pennsylvania Division Corporate Excellence Award, 2009 for its ongoing contribution to the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days fundraiser. The award was presented to AccuWeather on July 29, 2010 in a ceremony at its headquarters in State College, Pa.

"The Corporate Excellence Award recognizes a company's complete support of the society through fundraising, volunteerism, and employee engagement," said Mike Neal, Vice President of Division Field Operations for the American Cancer Society.
