STATE COLLEGE, PA - January 24, 2012 - AccuWeather today announced that visitors will now encounter an improved experience when viewing satellite and radar maps with highly zoomable and extremely detailed information. The new mapping system combines AccuWeather's detailed and accurate weather information with Bing™ Maps and allows for an updated interface with stunning imagery and pinpoint accuracy overlaid with AccuWeather's accurate and localized weather.

"AccuWeather is excited to now present our weather in conjunction with Bing™ Maps," said Pascal Racheneur, Vice President of New Interactive Media at AccuWeather. "The extension of our sleek design layout into the international section of our website, combined with Bing™ Maps, provides for a better user experience. The level of detail these maps are able to provide is exceptional; Bing™ makes it possible to see different weather conditions right on your neighborhood block!"

Bing™ Maps features neighborhood-level detail and rich aerial photography that bring the weather to life.
