AccuWeather Founder Dr. Joel N. Myers is Convening Keynote Speaker for 2014 AMS Summer Community Meeting

Myers, will serve as convening keynote speaker for the 2014 AMS Summer Community Meeting. Dr. Myers will present the opening speech which will explore the pace of innovation and transformational changes in weather forecasting. AccuWeather is a sponsor of the meeting and will host several events throughout the week.

As one of the sponsors of the AMS Summer Meeting, AccuWeather will host a reception dinner Sunday evening before sessions begin and will co-sponsor a BBQ on Monday night with the American Weather and Climate Industry Association (AWCIA), the trade association for professionals who make weather their business. Guided tours of AccuWeather Global Headquarters will be conducted before and after sessions on Monday and Wednesday during of the event.
