Weekend Snowflakes on Tap for Cleveland

By Samantha-Rae Tuthill, AccuWeather.com Staff Writer
    March 08, 2014, 2:31:54 AM EST

The weekend will begin on a mostly sunny note for the Cleveland area before a dip in the temperature and some afternoon flurries fly across the city.

Temperatures will be in the middle to upper 30s for Saturday in the region. Some snow will fall in the afternoon, but with temperatures just above freezing a significant accumulation is not expected.

The air will be slightly breezes, helping to make RealFeel® temperatures that are 5 to 10 degrees cooler than the actual temperature.

Lows overnight into Sunday will be in the lower 20s, with cloudy skies offering a chance for a few more snow showers around.

Sunday will mimic Friday's weather, as it turns clearer and a bit warmer as the high comes a bit closer to the 40-degree mark. The overnight will be about 10 degrees warmer than Saturday's was, leading into partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper to middle 40s to start the next work week.
