Friday, June 8th http://mte.accuweather.com/mte/mt.cgi?__mode=view&_type=entry&id=66288&blog_id=139&saved_changes=1 Creedence Clearwater Revisited with Three Dog NightMountain Winery, Saratoga, Cali.

This revival group featuring the original rhythm section (bass and drums) of rock legends Creedence Clearwater Revival has drawn a loyal following since their launch in 1995. The band – led by original CCR members Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” – brings their show to the scenic Mountain Winery venue in Santa Clara County. Tickets to the show start at $50. Saturday, June 9th

Jackson BrowneOrpheum Theater, Los Angeles, Cali.

The legendary musician has only two performances on the calendar this month, and both are in Los Angeles. The first of those two shows is this Saturday at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theater in a benefit concert to support the Success Through The Arts Foundation and the Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center in South L.A. Tickets to the show are available starting at $68.

Los Angeles Angels @ Colorado Rockies Coors Field, Denver, Colo.

With a 7-3 record in their last 10 games, the Rockies are tied for the best record in the National League over their past 10 games, setting the stage nicely for a quality interleague matchup with the Los Angeles Angels. Angels superstar Albert Pujols got out of the gate late with a slow start at the plate, but the slugger found his power stroke in May with 8 home runs in the month. Tickets are available to the afternoon game for as little as $8. Sunday, June 10th

Texas Rangers @ San Francisco GiantsAT&T Park, San Francisco, Cali. These two top teams will meet by the Bay in San Francisco in their first series since the 2010 World Series, which the Giants won in 5 games. In a stat that may bode well for the homestanding Giants, the Rangers have never won a game at AT&T Park, losing 11 straight at the stadium and 13 straight road games in San Francisco. Tickets to see the Giants attempt to continue their home dominance over the first place Rangers start at $30.

Nickelback with Seether and BushPepsi Center, Denver, Colo. Canadian rock act Nickelback hits Denver this weekend with a show at the Pepsi Center. The group is in the midst of a nationwide tour with South African act Seether and British group Bush. The last time that Nickelback played in Denver, the average cost of a ticket was $150, but ducats to Sunday’s show can be had for as little as $56.
