Sunny Days but No Rain Ahead for San Francisco

By By Mark Leberfinger, AccuWeather.com Staff Writer

Pleasant days will continue across the San Francisco area for the foreseeable future.

Daytime temperatures will be in the upper 60s with low clouds in the morning through Saturday.

It will be breezy with winds gusting at times to more than 30 mph to start the week but then backing down to about 15 mph by week's end.

The only problem ahead is no rain to help with the extended drought in the region.

According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, a third of California is in an exceptional drought, the highest level of drought calculated by the federal government.

It hasn't rained in San Francisco so far in June, and the prospects of any precipitation are very dim for the first month of summer.

No rain is in the forecast for San Francisco until early August.
