    Midweek Warmup for Pittsburgh

    By By Courtney Spamer, Meteorologist
    February 18, 2014, 1:55:50 AM EST

Following rounds of snow early in the week, temperatures will be breaking the freezing mark this week.

After yet another storm passes through the Great Lakes and part of the Northeast with a wintry mix on Monday into Tuesday, temperatures will trend above average for the middle and latter part of the week.

Temperatures by Thursday could be nearing 50 degrees, despite some late-day showers, but these showers are expected to be rain, rather than snow.

Rain is expected through Friday with moderate temperatures possible into the weekend.
