Cold air from Sandy's far western side brought heavy, wet snow to the mountains of northern North Carolina to Ohio.

Cold air from Sandy's far western side brought heavy, wet snow to the mountains of northern North Carolina to Ohio. It could continue to snow as far north as extreme western New York Monday into Wednesday.
