The run-up to Thanksgiving will start dry but quickly go downhill with a chilly rain.

The chilly rain will start Tuesday with a high only in the mid-40s, well below normal for this time of year. The normal high is about 60 degrees.

Wednesday, the busiest travel day of the year, will be a repeat with cold rain. There is the chance of poor visibility on roads, slow travel and flight delays.
