In the wake of unsettled weather this week, ample sunshine is forecast for the Pittsburgh area both days of the weekend.

Cool and clammy air that moved into much of the mid-Atlantic Wednesday to Thursday will dissolve moving into the weekend.

Some locations around Pittsburgh may start the day with low clouds on Friday, but the push of Atlantic moisture is running out of steam.

AccuWeather.com MinuteCast™ has the minute-by-minute forecast for your exact location when showers and thunderstorms threaten. Type your city name, select MinuteCast™, and input your street address. On mobile, you can also use your GPS location.

Humidity levels will drop moving into the weekend and sunshine will boost temperatures to near or above seasonable levels for late May and early June.

Temperatures typically range from a low in the middle 50s to a high in the middle 70s this time of year.
