Minneapolis: Thunderstorms for Father's Day Weekend

Minneapolis is in for a mostly pleasant Father's Day weekend with possible thunderstorms popping up through Sunday.

Slightly warmer weather will kick off the weekend, with sunny skies and a slight mix of clouds. Evening lows will be slightly higher in the high 50s.

Morning thunderstorms on Sunday should clear out in time for fans hoping to enjoy Father's Day at Target Field for the final game in the White Sox series with the first pitch at 1:10 p.m. It'll be a warm Sunday with temperatures reaching the low 80s.

Heading into the new week, times of clouds should vary throughout Monday with temperatures soaring into the mid-80s.
