Mall Roof Collapses Under Heavy Rainfall

Heavy rainfall lead to a partial roof collapse at a Charlotte, N.C., mall.

The Charlotte Fire Department of Charlotte, N.C. evacuated the South Park Mall around 5 p.m. Friday evening after heavy rainfall lead to a partial roof collapse. Radar shows that the Charlotte, N.C. area received between 1.0 and 2.5 inches of rain Friday in one hour. No injuries have been reported.
