    Magnitude 7.7 Earthquake Generates Tsunamis

    A massive 7.7 earthquake hit of the coast of western Canada on Saturday night, causing tsunami waves to hit Hawaii.

    A series of waves, as high as 5 feet hit Hawaii, but so far there were no reports of damage caused by the waves.

    Tsunami warnings were downgraded to advisories as the waves subsided.

    The earthquake was felt across British Columbia and as far south as Washington state. No reports of damage have been received from the quake.
