Los Angeles: Warm, Dry Weather in Store Into Late Week

By By Michael Kuhne, AccuWeather.com Staff Writer
    April 26, 2014, 10:54:07 PM EDT

Warm, dry weather will remain in Los Angeles throughout the week, but no rain is in sight to alleviate the drought.

“High temperatures will climb into the middle and upper 70s, several degrees above the average for late April,” AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Carl Erickson said.

Temperatures will be in the low to mid-70s through Friday.

Because of the continuing lack of rain, there won't be any problems getting in those outdoor activities, including the ongoing Los Angeles Dodgers home stand at Dodger Stadium.

“Thursday should be mainly clear, although there could be patchy low clouds for a time, mainly right along the coast,” Erickson said.

Low clouds each day could cause some flight delays during the week at Los Angeles International Airport.

“Otherwise, sunny skies return Thursday with highs well into the 70s,” he said, adding onshore flow increases Friday as a cold front moves toward the area.
