    June 02, 2014, 4:14:42 PM EDT

Hot and humid conditions will blaze this week across the Metroplex.

Temperatures will progressively rise through the 90s for the first part of this week in Dallas.

Daily highs will start in the low 90s but then peak in the upper 90s on Wednesday.

High humidity will create even higher AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures. Residents are urged to drink plenty of water, wear light-clothing and avoid strenuous activities during the hottest times of the day.

There are no signs of a cooling thunderstorm developing through at least midweek.
