Dry days will be hard to come by with showers and thunderstorms forecast to become routine around Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, this week.

That is not to say that this week will be a complete washout. There will be breaks of rain-free weather, but AccuWeather.com meteorologists cannot promise an entirely rain-free day.

There will be a push of dry air across New England on Wednesday, but that push may be too weak and too far away to guarantee a day free of rain.

High humidity and rather extensive cloud cover will result in not-so-cool nights through Friday.

A system from the Midwest is forecast to move slowly eastward toward the end of the week with a broad area of showers and thunderstorms.

Only if this system keeps moving forward will the weekend turn out dry and sunny.
