There is no known cure for this disease. It strikes a large part of the population this time of year. Most vulnerable are those that have been cooped up all winter long. Early warning signs are trying to figure a way out of work in order to be on the golf course or ball field.

Spring fever is already spreading rampant across parts of the Ohio Valley and Northeast under bright, sun-filled skies, and during the next three days, it could become an all-out epidemic. Thursday, 60s will be widespread from the Tennessee Valley to southern New England, and 70s are reachable by Saturday.

If you catch the bug, don't worry. It's a good way to go. Enjoy!

The "Dead of Winter," the one-month period when normal temperatures reach their lowest levels, has come to an end for much of the United States. Some people may find it odd that the "Dead of Winter" does not encompass the darkest day of the year (the first day of winter). That is due to a seasonal lag in temperatures. More heat continues to be lost than is gained from the start of winter until this time of year.
