Despite the stormy start to the week, sunny skies will return to Detroit in time for Father's Day weekend.

After some rain on Wednesday and Thursday, Friday looks to be much drier.

While slightly cooler temperatures are in store for the city this weekend, periods of sunshine will give residents and visitors a break from the stormy weather on Friday.
