Winds remaining at a steady 15 to 25 mph, and gusts up to 35 mph at times, will persist into the weekend in Detroit.
Temperatures will be in the high 40s to start the weekend, but it will be blustery, making it feel cooler than the actual temperature. High pressure will return Sunday, and temperatures will rise into the mid-50s, but the mild weather will not stay as cooler air moves into the region early in the week.
“It looks to be a nice day overall on Sunday,” said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Alyson Hoegg, adding temperatures are hovering right around normal for the time of year.
Rain will return to the area early in the workweek, but will not linger long.
“It will rain Monday and Monday afternoon,” she said. “They may clear out by Tuesday with a chance for a lingering shower Tuesday morning.”
Temperatures will slide back down into the high 40s Tuesday.
