Less Humid Air to Reach Detroit for Labor Day

By By Kristina Pydynowski, senior meteorologist

Relief from the sticky conditions will reach Detroit on Labor Day.

A cold front pressed through Detroit early on Monday, sweeping away the humid air that was in place for the first two days of the holiday weekend and ending on a more seasonable note with clouds and sunshine.

Temperatures through Thursday will be in the mid-70s, followed by a warming trend back to the low 80s for the weekend.

The next chance of rain is possible on Saturday with a shower or thunderstorm in spots.
