Dallas Heat to Continue through Thursday

By By Mark Leberfinger, AccuWeather.com Staff Writer
    September 03, 2014, 8:38:08 PM EDT

Temperatures will remain in the 90s across the Metroplex through at least Thursday.

Daytime highs will stay in the mid-90s for the first week of September, right about normal for this time of year.

The month of August concluded with nine days at or above 100 F in the Dallas area.

Helping to prime the continued warm air across the Metroplex will be a stiff southerly breeze, gusting at times to 25 mph.

Baseball fans will have dry, warm conditions to visit Globe Life Park to watch the Texas Rangers.

The Rangers begin a 10-game home stand on Thursday, starting with a series against Seattle Mariners.
