Colder Air Coming in Stages, Snow Too for Cleveland

By By Alex Sosnowski, expert senior meteorologist.
    October 22, 2013, 1:07:06 AM EDT

Northerly winds will drive cold air southward from Canada and across the Midwest, including the Cleveland area through the week.

After a brief warmup on Monday, waves of colder air will arrive on the scene over the balance of the week and will push nighttime temperatures consistently into the 30s with daytime highs in the 40s to near 50.

Each successive push of colder air will likely bring more wind as well, adding to the chill.

Along with the colder air for the region will come the first opportunities for snow of the season, or at least snowflakes. It will remain chilly and showery through Saturday.
