Chicago: Storms to Start the New Week

By By Kevin Byrne, AccuWeather.com Staff Writer
    August 13, 2014, 6:04:08 AM EDT

Storms will move into Chicagoland for the new week.

It will breezy and cooler on Tuesday with highs around 70 F and a couple of spotty showers in the afternoon. The normal temperature for this time of year in Chicago is 82 F.

The Chicago Cubs will begin a four-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday at 7:05 p.m. CDT. Despite the threat for wet weather Tuesday, evening conditions are expected to be clear both nights, so good weather conditions should be in store for the entire series.

Conditions will improve on Wednesday with temperatures returning to the mid-70s and plenty of sunshine throughout the day.

Overnight low temperatures will stay in the low 60s through midweek.
