The American League Championship Series started on a brisk note over the weekend but rainy weather could hamper the series as it moves to Detroit.

Despite a few late afternoon sprinkles of rain Tuesday, Game 3 for the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox took place without delay in Comerica Park. However, fans on Wednesday may not be so lucky.

More showers are expected in the area Wednesday afternoon and evening, perhaps impeding on Game 4. Game 4 is scheduled for 8 p.m.
