On this week's edition of AccuWeather LIVE, we took a look at tonight's severe weather threat in the Plains and Southeast.

Meteorologist Justin Povick provided the latest forecast updates and tropical development details. Meteorologist Heather Waldman highlighted the recent extreme weather events from earlier in the week.
