Well, I can't believe it, but I'm about to go to New York City for the first time. Thankfully, I'm going with my wife and also my supervisor, who is totally comfortable with the big city. As I've blogged before, I'm not a big fan of traveling. But when AccuWeather asked me to go to Social Media Week 2013, I looked at the awesome seminars there and knew I couldn't stay away (for any of you who don't know, I've been the Social Media Coordinator for AccuWeather.com for the past three years and Community Manager before that).
STAY TUNED all week for poignant and important updates from the experts at Social Media Week New York and, of course, my commentary and pics of the big city by following me on Facebook:Jesse Ferrell | Create Your Badge

Hawaii is about to get pounded by a week-long snowstorm that will drop feet of snow!

Astronomical portions of snow were delivered to parts of New York State this weekend.
I was treated to a rare October lightning show, with hundreds of lightning strikes hitting the valley below me. The next morning.
