Punt Punxatawney Phil!!:

I live in saylorsburg, PA...about 70 miles north of Philly...about 12 miles south of Stroudsburg.

How close to MY backyard can you get some official measurements for...and some background records/averages.

I've been arguing with my mother that this has been our worst winter ever - and I can't make her agree with me.

Can we get some official data, please?

Jesse,

Very nice job reporting on all the snow for the mid-atlantic region...but something seems not right to me for Philadelphia. Where you listed the top 10 snowstorms on record for the city, the President's Day 2003 storm was missed. I believe there was somewhere around 18 or 19" in Philadelphia during that storm.

Just want to also Thank the Great Jeff Masters for the middle Paragraph here as I felt it was important written as is for understanding these totals compared to a Usual Season in that area. Though, what Is a usual Season after this one haha.

I have 44" for the season in Northern, RI, while others North of me have less with thier biggest snow storm being less than 10". All I can say is - This ones for You Mid-A!!
