I am @AccuFrank on Twitter, which is the most reliable way to get alerted when I post new stuff. There's also this Facebook fan page thingie, which is not particularly reliable for that but it's good for posting little things where 140 characters won't do them justice.
It will stay mostly quiet through the weekend, but troubles will erupt west of the Mississippi and off the Southeast Coast next week.
A generally quiet setup for now won't last long for most places. It will get stormy west of the Mississippi early next week and semitropical problems may develop along the East Coast.
Although not entirely quiet, this week won't be as active nor wet as last week was. Thank goodness!
Active weather continues with flooding downpours and severe thunderstorm risk in some areas through Monday. We then finally get a break as it turns cooler.
We will be dealing with drenching rain and severe storms through this weekend before things settle down. A cooler setup is coming next week too.
There is some light at the end of the tunnel now, but it looks wet across much of the south until this weekend.
